Music is a huge part of my life. I grew up in a family that liked to listen to albums together and to sing together. Some of my most cherished moments are singing Peter Paul and Mary songs with my Mom and my Aunt Gilda while we tried to strum the autoharp. None of us knew how to play it, but we did the best we could with the guitar chord books we found in the local music store. But we enjoyed singing A Capella together just as much as we liked the autoharp.

My musical taste is all over the place, and it is probably easier to say what I don't like than to list all the genres I enjoy. I've never cared for Grunge music, and I abhor anything whose theme promotes misogyny or violence - no matter the genre.

That said, I lean towards Folk, Classic Rock, 90's Country, and much of the music made in the 60's, 70's and 80's.
